Feb. 12 - Jason Lawrence has been stealing away victories in the Supercross Lites division. He has won three consecutive wins with the latest win at Qualcomm Stadium. Lawrence bumped Ryan Dungey down from the number one position. The next race takes place at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas on Saturday the 16th. (last updated on 2-13-08)


Past News

Feb. 8 - After a number of incredible races and close results, Grant Langston and Broc Hepler will both be out due to injuries. Hepler is a rider for team Yamaha for the Supercross Lites, and Langston is a rider for team Yamaha in the Supercross.

Hepler suffered a broken thumb after a crash during practice on a track in Anaheim. He was flown home to Pensylvania on Sunday morning to have his regular doctor explain the severity of the injury. Hepler underwent minor surgery involving the placement of pins in his thumb on Tuesday which inolved no incisions. Hepler will be out for 4-6 weeks to recover.

Langston was experiencing blurred vision in his left eye, which was discovered to be leaking blood vessels near the retina. Treatment has already began and recovery time will be around 6 weeks.

Jan. 20 - James Stewart injured his left knee while preparing for the 2008 Monster Energy Supercross at his home track in December. Stewart had 25 wins under his belt. Prior to the injury, Stewart was tied for first place with Chad Reed. He will be out for the remainder of the year.
